Reimagine COVID Signs & Graphics

July 5, 2022

While many people hoped the pandemic would have faded away by now, it seems that COVID may be here to stay for a while longer. This means that all of the signage you put up about masks, social distancing, and hand sanitizing is going to continue to be necessary for all businesses. Since this type of signage isn’t going away anytime soon, it’s time to reimagine your signs and graphics related to the virus.

How can you implement creativity when it comes to your COVID signs and graphics? Here are a few ways that you can refresh these signs and graphics in your business:

Utilize Existing Banner Stands

Many businesses invested in banners and banner stands when the pandemic first hit. They used these prominent signs to relay pertinent information about masks and handwashing, but most of us already know this information by now. Before you throw away the banner and the stand, you might want to consider how you could repurpose them.

Use an existing banner stand to update your signage. Post information about the company policy when it comes to sanitation. Remind customers and clients to wear masks and to stand roughly six feet apart from one another.

If you already have some of this signage posted, then you might reuse that banner stand to advertise a special promotion that you are running. You can use the banner to your advantage, even if you don’t use it as a COVID sign.

Hanging Signs on Acrylic Barriers

As COVID became rampant, businesses across every industry started to put up acrylic barriers to separate their customers from their employees. The thought was that the acrylic barriers would minimize the transmission of the germs responsible for the virus. Many companies still have barriers in place, and they can be great advertising space.

Acrylic barriers are the perfect place to hang graphics and flyers about your business. Create a visual for your customers when it comes to a special deal that you are offering or a service that sets your business apart. There is no limit to what you can create to hang on the acrylic barriers in your place of business.

Hygiene Stations

People no longer need to be reminded to wash their hands frequently or to use hand sanitizer at every available opportunity. Chances are that they don’t need to be reminded how to use these hygiene stations either. Reimagine the signage that you can hang at these hand sanitizing stations, and try to use this prime spot for advertisements that can help your business expand.

A-Frame or Sandwich Board Signs

Do you want some images or graphics that can easily be moved from one location to another? If your business needs more flexibility with its signs, consider investing in an A-frame sign or a sandwich board sign. Not only can these signs be moved around as necessary, but it is also quite simple to swap out the graphics on them. You can keep one side for reminders about COVID policies and use the other side for advertising a special.

With one investment into the actual frame itself, you can easily swap the graphics out in a cost-effective manner throughout the year. This will help reduce your ad spend and allow you to keep reusing your existing sign frames. Not to mention, this type of advertising is already fairly affordable, which allows you to get more bang for your marketing dollars.
