We Can Wrap ‘Em All: ATD Contracting

ATD Contracting specializes in all types of renovation and restoration services, including basement renovations, kitchen renovations and landscape design, throughout Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga and the surrounding areas. Their showroom is located in Oakville here, a two-minute drive from our Oakville studio on Speers. However, it wasn’t until we introduced ourselves at the local home show that we got to talking, and luckily enough they were looking for a large-format supplier to wrap their vehicles, and that’s our specialty!

Vehicle wraps are an innovative approach to advertising your business. They act as a moving, 3D billboard and work 24 hours a day to create awareness for your company and to reach out to new customers. A wrap is a large vinyl graphic or decal. The graphics are printed on this vinyl, which is designed specifically for this use, and then typically laminated with a protective coat that gives final gloss, matte or luster finish. The vinyl is applied directly onto the vehicle which actually helps protect the paint and can be easily removed, even after several years, to return the vehicle to its original condition.

Speedpro Imaging prints exclusively on 3M vinyl and uses 3M certified installers for their “full” and “partial” vehicle wraps, and in doing so, we stand by our wraps with a 2-year warranty.

ATD wanted to create an updated design that would work on a variety of vehicles, one that would also encompass the look and feel of their brand. Since our Speedpro studio has a full-time graphic designer on staff, the process was easy for the customer. Getting the design right can be the most time-consuming part of the vehicle-wrapping process. It’s critical. The designing can take a couple of days or a couple of weeks; it very much depends on the clarity of your ‘vision’ and your availability to provide fast feedback to design proofs (which we will make available to you every step of the way). Once we have the final design, we move into production and confirm the installation schedule. From the day of approved art, it can be a quick as 4 to 5 days to complete installation.
