We are a leading Canadian-owned signage company with the headquarters in Winnipeg, Manitoba. SpeedPro began franchising in 1991 and quickly became the country’s largest sign producer. Today, we have 48 franchises from British Columbia to Newfoundland.
We offer two business models in Canada; SpeedPro Signs and SpeedPro Imaging. This versatility allows SpeedPro’s clients the best solutions available.

Stuart Burns
President
Stuart brings vast business experience and skill to head the Canadian SpeedPro Group. Stuart has 20 years experience in progressive sales and marketing leadership roles in high profile, large, and multinational organizations. He was a “high-energy” manager who has piloted initiatives and streamlined operations to achieve record-breaking sales and profitability. His expertise on the finance side allows Stuart to work with Franchisees to help drive their businesses to new levels. Stuart has attended Wilfred Laurier University, University of Western Ontario, York University and the Detroit Business School.

Jim Wernham
Director of Operations
Jim provides over 17 years of visual communication and sign industry experience to help our SpeedPro Franchise Owners succeed. Business development guidance and expert operational support, combined with strategic insight and implementation, enhance Studio performance to achieve identified goals. From initial training to growing existing customers, Jim’s planning and implementation expertise slant to achieving sales and marketing goals, with expertise in human resources, preferred supplier programs, and operational excellence. Jim is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a former Vice-President of Coca-Cola Bottling Ltd. Corporate leadership skills and previous success in small business development deliver superior support to our SpeedPro network.

Lance Barnett
Franchisee Support
Lance has a degree in graphic design and worked in the sign industry since 1991. He was Assistant Production Manager at one of Canada’s largest sign manufacturers for several years. Lance joined SpeedPro in 1996 and has worked in a variety of responsibilities including R&D with new products and vendors. Lance served on the BC Sign Association Board of Directors for 7 years.
